Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Willie Larry Mathis, Sr., affectionately know to family and friends as "Nap" will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Philippian Community Church, 7578 New Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL 32219. Mr. Mathis passed away November 21, 2022. He is survived by his devoted wife, of 11 years, Catherine Mathis; 3 loving children: Willie Larry Mathis, Jr., Willie Larry Mathis, III, Willie Larry Mathis, IV and Malcolm Mathis; three grandchildren; two brothers: Darrell Mathis (Stephanie) and James Ford; aunt, Mary Jones (Bishop Virgil, Sr.); a host of other loving relatives and friends. There will be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the funeral at 10:00am. Family and friends will assemble at the church. Military Honors will be rendered at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Monday, December 5,2022, at 11:30am. Please proceed to Lane 3 in the cemetery.
