Troy Haywood was born August 12, 1934, in Toledo, Georgia to the late James & Rosa Lee Haywood. He attended Monic School in Georgia. He was united in holy matrimony to Luciel Roberts, on August 20, 2004 and to this union they had a huge blended family. He worked as a truck driver for Georgia Pacific for over twenty years until his retirement.
Troy was a dedicated member of Jacksonville Masjid of Al-Islam for years. Then many years later, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Troy transitioned from this life at home on Monday, February 12, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was a very pleasant and giving man and a lover of humanity, because everyone he'd met would soon become a friend. Even the fur babies could sense his kindness, and it made his heart happy to feed and care for them. He was a traveler, taking many trips with his wife and family; commemorating every moment by the many photographs he would take leaving a trail of memories that will last a lifetime, and a rich legacy to pass on throughout generations.
