Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirl Anntionette Jenkins Carswell will be held at 12Noon, Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the chapel of the mortuary. There will be a viewing in the chapel at 11:00AM, just prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will assemble at the mortuary. The interment will take place at 2:00 PM, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4803 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Please use Lane 1. Mrs. Carswell passed away on March 17, 2026.

Mrs. Carswell is survived by her devoted husband, Darryl Carswell; her siblings: Melvnia Townsend, Paul  Jenkins, Kay Black, Ruth Campbell, Leila Hendley, Theresa Little (Sylvester), Odessa Williams (Arthur) Horace Sasnett, and Edward Sasnett; uncle, Oscar Leon McKnight (Paula); sister-in-law,  Sharon (Timothy) Reid; brother-in-law, Lonnie Carswell (Janice); Pastor and dear friend, Danetha Lemmon; along with the extended Sasnett family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other loving relatives, and dear friends.
