Milton Dixon Johnson, Jr.

A Memorial Service Honoring  the life of Mr. Milton Dixon Johnson, Jr. will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 21, 2025, in the chapel of the mortuary.  A life long resident of Jacksonville, Mr. Johnson passed away on March 11, 2025. Family and friends will assemble at the mortuary at 10:30 A.M. 

Affectionately known to family and friends as "Dooney" or "MJ", Mr. Johnson attended the public schools in Duval County, graduating from Jean Ribault High School in the class of 2012 with honors. After graduating high school, he enlisted into the Army National Guard as a Nodal Network System Operator and he was honorably discharged. From his early childhood days until adolescence, Dooney played football for LBF, Kirby Smith Middle , Robert E. Lee High and Jean Ribault High Schools. He also established records in track and field. Dooney also was employed with the city of Jacksonville as a sanitation worker.

Milton Dixon Johnson, Jr. is survived by his loving family: daughter, Kar'Leigh Johnson; mother, Deidra Johnson; father, Milton Johnson, Sr.; sisters, De'Andra Johnson and Ja'Nae Johnson (Antonio); a number of other loving relatives and friends.
