Lynette Elaine Reed

Funeral Services for  Ms. Lynette Elaine Reed will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, in the chapel of the mortuary. Ms. Reed passed away on February 6, 2026. There will be a viewing in the chapel at 10:00AM, just prior to her funeral service.

Lynette was born on August 23, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the union of Rufus Reed, Jr. and Espolaine Green. Lynette attended various schools in Florida and North Carolina while traveling with her family in the military. 

Lynette expressed her joy for life by giving birth to her eight wonderful children, who survive her: Jerome, Ray, Joshua, Matthew, Maurice, Isaiah, Squantavious, and angel. Lynette is also survived by her siblings: Tamillia Reed, Ranada (Wooten), Rhea Reed, Rayan Reed, Alicia Middleton, Marquita Bell, Rufus Reed, III, Antionette Nelms, Levon Nelms, Octavis King, Christina Hutchinson, Crystal Hutchinson, Shannon Reed, Etoshia Reed, Khadisja Reed, Keyanna Reed, Kaitlyn Reed, and Danny Reed. A number of other loving relatives and friends.
