Joshua Emmanuel Kelly, born on August 5, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Joyce Streeter and Wallace Kelly, lived a life marked by a deep connection to his faith and a love for travel. Despite his earthly years amounting to 34, Joshua's legacy of greatness endures through the numerous adventures and profound experiences shared with all who knew him. Central to his essence was his profound love and fear of God, anchoring him in a strong faith that guided his path.
Joshua was young when Wallace went home to be with the Lord.  At age 14 Joshua had a desire for a father figure.  Because of God’s love and faithfulness, He blessed Joshua with Harold Hamilton (Dad).  He became the pivotal point in our family!  There are so many memories of the bond between this wonderful relationship that was nurtured for 18 years.  We are convinced that God does not make mistakes.

Joshua's spiritual devotion led him to play a pivotal role in the inception of Word Up Walls Down, where his commitment to God and his church community flourished. Always eager to ensure the ministry ran smoothly, Joshua served as Deacon and Minister of Music, embodying grace and dedication in his duties.

Alongside his cherished family – including his parents, siblings Stacey (Preceded into Heaven), Tracey, Cacey, Tomeeka, Loretta, Johnathon, Timothy, Andrew, and Quincy, as well as his nieces and nephews – Joshua shared profound ties, particularly with his niece Faith, forming a special connection that epitomized his generous spirit and wisdom.
Joshua was educated in the Decatur School System until the 11th grade.  He transferred to Miller Grover High School where he finally came into his own.  It was there that he pursued his passion for tennis where they won several championships. Serving in the United States Air Force and briefly attending Georgia State University further showcased his passion for life and commitment to desire excellence for himself and others. As we remember Joshua's  impact, let us  hold close the advise he imparted and strive to embody the values he cherished, honoring his memory with every step.
