Funeral services for Miss Jakayla A. Hicks, 16, will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 5527 Redpoll Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32219. Miss Hicks passed away August 18, 2022. She is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Shawnda L. McNish; 2 sisters, Shanyah J. Nicholas,12 and Keimara Wilkins,12; 2 brothers, Travis Nicholas, 9 and Lawrence Singleton, III; great grandmother, Shirley Maples; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and many dear friends. There will be a viewing at the church, one hour prior to the service at 10:00AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery, South, 3102 Moncrief Road, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
