Funeral Services for Mr. Frank Edward Robinson will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2024 in the chapel of the mortuary. There will be a viewing in the chapel at 12 Noon, one hour prior to the service. Mr. Robinson passed away July 24, 2024. He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Shantia D. Robinson; grandchildren: Jayden, Sharae, Serenity, Justice, and Mylaysia; sisters: Beverly Ann Robinson and Zelda Robinson; brother, Derrick Lee Robinson, Sr; niece, Latoya Robinson; nephews: Derrick Lee Robinson, Jr. and Jerome Edward Robinson; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Frank will be forever missed.
Frank was born on April 27, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida to the union of Willie Frank Robinson and Ruth Ester Newman-Robinson. He was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Florida and a graduate of Jean Ribault High School Class of 1981. Frank worked at Baptist Medical Center as a dietary aide for several years. He also worked at Famous Amos Restaurant. Frank was a yardman to many of his neighbors on the Westside. Affectionately known to many as "Bone," Frank had a big heart. He was a real-deal standup guy, always keeping everyone laughing. Frank had a love for being outside in the yard, rather it was just listening to music, hanging out with his grandkids grilling, or just hanging out chillin. As he would always say, his favorite color was red. He loved fried fish and watching football and WWE Smack Down Live.
Special Thanks to close love ones and friends that helped Frank during his difficult time of life: Latoya Robinson, Altamese Stewart, Raphael McKenzie, and two close neighbors, Ms. Willie Mae and Ms. Ashley.
Message from Grandkids: Papa, we will always keep you in our hearts. We miss you.
