Funeral services for First Lady, Elizabeth Holmes Swain will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the chapel of the mortuary. First Lady Swain passed away January 11, 2023. There will be a viewing Friday, January 20, 2023, in the chapel of the mortuary, from 5pm-7pm. First Lady Swain is very recently predeceased by her husband, Pastor Gary Swain, November 2022. She is survived by her loving and devoted family: son, Joshua Holmes (Sam); daughter, Tashanna Hampton (Travis); brothers: Kenneth Anderson (Tan), James Holmes, Jr.(Carolyn), Gregory Holmes, Sr.( Tonia), and Joe Holmes, Sr.; nieces and nephews: Tarsha Hagans (Marcus), Janee Holmes (Paige), Gregory Holmes, Jr. (Danielle), Travis Holmes (Cari), Kenneth Anderson, Jr., Joe Holmes, Jr. (Sophia), Keion Anderson (Jessica), Akeem Holmes (Tiffani); and a host of great nieces and nephews. Special friends and caretakers: Juliette Capers-Kimbrough, Angelia Hampton (Frank), Maxine Watkins, Wanda Allen, Zecia Foreman, Tina Vesey, Alfreda Harris, Tameka Gibson (Alvin), Hazel Baptiste, Wayne "Chick' Morton, the entire Magnolia Gardens families, classmates of William M. Raines High School, and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. Family and friends will assemble at the mortuary.
