Deacon Steven Lamar Brant

A Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Steven Lamar Brant will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Zarephath Tabernacle, 1028 E. 10th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Deacon Brant transitioned on February 21, 2025. There will be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the church.

A  resident of Jacksonville, Florida,  Deacon Brant attended Williams M. Raines High School. He is survived by his loving and devoted family: daughter, Jasmine Brant; grandson, Antonio Gooch; brothers: Albert Fountain (Gail) and Michael Brant; sister, Rosa Sanders (Eddie); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Deacon Brant is predeceased by his parents: James, Sr. and Thelma Small Brant; brothers: William Brant (Karen), Apostle James Brant, Jr. (First Lady Denise) and Cheryl Diane Smith.
