Funeral Services for Deacon Louis C. Siplin, Jr. will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at  The Gospel Temple COGIC, 503 E. 63rd Street, Jacksonville, FL 32208. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Deacon Siplin transitioned on November 24, 2025. Interment with full Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:30PM, at The Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL. 32218, please use lane number 3. 

Deacon Siplin is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Mrs. Retha Greene Siplin; daughters: Laveta Mapp (Charlie), Anita Lewis and Cynthia Lewis; grandchildren: Jonathan, LaTrice and Charlie; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Jr., Gary, Yuri,and Mekhi; sisters: Joan Samples (Neil) and Jackie Siplin; anunt, Catherine M. Kelly; brother-in-law, Richard Edwards; sister-in-law, Catherine Greene; a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
