A Memorial Service Celebrating the life of Bishop Mark A. Fitten, Sr. will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Zarephath Apostolic Assemblies, 1028 E. 10th Street, Jacksonville, Florida, 32206.

Bishop Mark A. Fitten, Sr. age 60, transitioned to paradise on October 24, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his lovingly, devoted wife of 40 years, Sharon Fitten; four children: Mark, Jr., Charity, Micah, and Grace;10 grandchildren; brothers: Willie, Jr., Ray, Hosea, Nathan; sisters: Ronda, Leah, and Sha'Myra; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; one great-great-nephew. 

Bishop lived a life devoted to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ since the age of 15. He worked over 35 years as a Master Barber and later as a Merchant Marine just before his untimely passing. He spent his free time in fellowship with family and friends most frequently on the phone or after a road trip, but always finding his way to share the love of God and passion for family. He was a charismatic man and a true friend. His smile was infectious and his spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
